removal project partner of choice. You’ll shape CO280’s product marketing and communications
strategy into our two key markets (carbon and pulp and paper), building our public profile and
brand.
About the Company
CO280 is a leading developer of large-scale carbon removal projects that will remove more than 10 megatons of carbon from the air per year. We are achieving this by partnering with pulp
and paper companies to capture biogenic CO2 from pulp mills, storing it permanently underground. By integrating with a legacy industry, our projects deliver permanent, high quality CDR efficiently and at lower prices compared to other engineered CDR. Our projects are profitable, repeatable, bankable and scalable. This is sustainability with a solid business case. We currently have more than ten projects in active development with pulp and paper partners in the Gulf Coast and Canada.
We are addressing a critical supply gap in the CDR market, where we are selling our credits to Fortune 100 customers. We have announced CDR offtake agreements totalling more than 4 million tonnes of CDR from our first project in the Gulf Coast with JP Morgan, Frontier buyers (e.g., Google, Salesforce, etc.), and Microsoft. We have also secured demand for million of tonnes of additional CDR demand which we are allocating to our next several projects in 2025.
We have an extraordinary team, and we’re backed by leading equity funds in energy transition. We are well-capitalized and are scaling up our team to achieve the next stage of growth.
